Comment Images For WordPress 1.4

I’ve received some great feedback from users who are using Comment Images For WordPress. Since its release, I’ve received a number of comments, emails, and quick notes about minor issues that users have had when using the plugin.

Ending Development on Author Admin

For those of you who are interested, you can download the plugin though I no longer maintain this.

Roughly four months ago, I released a premium plugin that aimed to improve author administration in WordPress. Today, I’m officially ending development on Author Admin..

Similar to WP Social Icons, I’m more concerned with narrowly focusing my efforts on projects that are more closely aligned with the problems I’d like to attempt to solve.

That said, there are a few things that I did learn while working on and maintaining the project.

Ultimately, it gives your community the ability to share a single image or illustration to support whatever they have to say.

Ending Development on WP Social Icons

WP Social Icons

About a year ago, I launched WP Social Icons – a premium plugin based on Tipsy Social Icons that attempted to make it easy to include social icons on any WordPress-powered site.

It offered the ability to sort your icons, upload your own icons, change the size, adjust the orientation, and so on.

WPCandy covered some of my thoughts on developing it, and I had the pleasure of joining Jeffro on the WordPress Weekly Podcast to talk about it.

On top of that, I gained experience on what it was like to release a small, commercial product into the WordPress Marketplace and how it compares to the free version.

Overall, the plugin was a success. But as of today, I’m officially ending development on WP Social Icons.
