    That NetTuts article was a nice reminder that PHP can, in fact, function as a modern programming language.

    And that a good API is a huge part of creating a killer web app.

      I don’t think that PHP isn’t a modern programming language, but it’s older.

      The global namespace and the heavy influence if C make it feel a bit dated than, say, Python but it’s actually older than PHP :).
