Whenever there are holidays, I still publish a post about what’s going on simply because this blog has become a little more than just a place to talk about code. It’s also a place where I very occasionally share what is happening offline.
This week, my wife and I are finally taking a week-long trip with our daughters.
And we’re stoked.
Hitting Pause
Specifically, we’re taking the kiddos to Disney World.
For those who have been before, you know how much fun it can be. For those who have been with kids, you know how ridiculously fun it is to see the park(s) from their perspective.
And our girls are at an age where we finally get to do that. Furthermore, my parents will be there for part of the trip, and Meghan’s parents will be there for part of the trip.
(I am in hardcore #dadmode right now, aren’t I?)
Anyway, for the coming week (and first the first time in I don’t know how long), I’m taking a break from hitting pause on Publish or the Scheduled button.
If you’re interested in what’s going on, I’ll likely be sharing a few things on Twitter and on Instagram so take a peek at either place to see what’s up.
I’ll be back to the usual routine after the trip, but I’m not aiming to rush it. We’ve been planning this since our oldest was born and I aim to enjoy every minute of it.
