Namespaces and Autoloading
Namespaces and Autoloading in WordPress is one of those topics that can pay dividends in both organizing your code and make it more efficient.
At the same time, it’s one of those things that I don’t think is talked about very much (if enough at all) within the WordPress economy.
So I’m positioning the talk as a type of introduction to the topics and a place to get started. With that said, I’m also going to be covering how the two fit together and how to get started with each of them.
Here’s what you can expect in the talk:

- Logical and virtual file organization,
- Autoloading and a practical example of them,
- Writing and reusing your autoloader.
Once the talk is done, I’ll be sure to share the slide deck, an example plugin, and a much longer article including everything that I plan to discuss during the presentation.
