The resources category is an attempt to summarize some of the articles, videos, and other development-related things that I found interesting throughout the past week.
Here’s some of the good stuff I found over the past seven days:
- Nettuts published two great JavaScript articles this week. One covered the essentials of writing high-quality JavaScript and another gave a beginner’s tutorial on JavaScript hoisting.
- The second release candidate of jQuery 1.4.3 was released. Track the changes between the candidates on GitHub.
- I’m a fan of 37signals (their blog, books, and general development philosophy). Ryan posted a video of his latest talk on web application development at the FOWA London conference.
- Generally speaking, I dig Bob Martin’s philosophy on software craftsmanship so I’m always interested to see the mentality applied throughout the industry. Six Revisions published a great article on the craftsmanship in web design.
- As the number of Stack Exchange sites has begun to multiply, the team recently rolled out the ability to search all Stack Exchange sites.
