A number of good things from around the web this week:

  • The default JavaScript alert and confirm dialogs are less than attractive. Here’s a good tutorial on writing a usable, attractive confirm dialog replacement.
  • If you do any advanced development with WordPress, understanding post types and taxonomies is key. NetTuts has a good article that explains both.
  • Andy Walpole has a nice write up at Think Vitamin talking about tips to learn JavaScript. If there’s one language every developer should know inside and out, this is it.
  • I stumbled across a new jQuery Grid that’s worth checking out.
  • Treesaver.js is a JavaScript framework for creative magazine style layouts on the web.
